Coffee shop · Marion
Ember & Oak Coffee
Warm minimal — cream and espresso tones, an elegant serif, generous quiet space. For a shop that sells calm as much as coffee.
Vajgrt Labs · Sample front pages
We designed these sample front pages to show range — a quiet coffee shop, a loud BBQ joint, a black-and-white salon, a neon tattoo studio — and twenty more, from a minimalist sushi bar to a schedule-first taco truck. Same studio, same standards, no two alike.
One honest note: the businesses are fictional — invented names, made-up townsfolk, 555 phone numbers. The design work is real. When a client hires us, their site is built around their business the same way these are built around each invented one.

Rustic Americana — barn red and cream, slab type and an EST. 1974 badge, bulletin-board energy. A store that feels like it's always been there, because it has.
Hair salon · Herrin
Black-and-white editorial — a magazine masthead, big serif headlines, and a price list typeset like art. Proof a salon page doesn't need pink to feel like a salon.
Auto repair · West Frankfort
Bold industrial — charcoal and safety orange, hazard stripes, services laid out like a spec sheet. No fluff; torque specs and straight answers.
Bakery · Benton
Soft pastel and playful — blush and mint, scalloped edges, tilted cards. Sweet without being silly, and the Saturday order deadline is front and center.

Loud retro Americana — red, yellow and cream, vintage signage lettering, a starburst special badge and a chalkboard menu. Some businesses should shout.
Tattoo studio · Carbondale
The outlandish end — near-black with neon violet and acid green, blackletter type, a staggered asymmetric grid. If your brand is the night, your website shouldn't look like a dentist's.
Steakhouse · Marion
Dark ceremonial fine dining — near-black and oxblood, brass double-rules, courses numbered like a ceremony. For the anniversary dinner, not the Tuesday special.
Fast food · Carbondale
Maximum-energy burgers — red and mustard, giant combo numerals, starburst price badges and an open-late drive-thru banner. Built to be read at 30 mph.
Movie theater · Herrin
A marquee in CSS — near-black navy, gold and velvet, bulb-dot borders and poster cards with showtime chips. Friday night, typeset.

Food truck · Marion / Carbondale / Carterville
Schedule-first street design — black, hot orange and lime, the weekly stops table as the hero. A truck's website has one job: where are you today?
Gym · Marion
High-energy athletic — black and volt, diagonal cuts, giant numerals and a class grid. Membership tiers with hard edges; nothing about it whispers.
Yoga & wellness · Carbondale
Slow and airy — sage, sand and clay, concentric circles and a calm single column of classes. The opposite of the gym page, for the opposite promise.
